CODE OF CONDUCT and HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY

I always use good quality water based paints (Grimas, Wolfe brothers, Mehron, Snazaroo, Kryolan, Fardel) these are FDA/EU compliant and I only use cosmetic poly-glitter. If you are in any doubt about any allergic reaction, a patch test will be offered.

I will not paint a child with a cold sore/eczema/chicken pox, is unwell or has any other apparent skin disease. An arm tattoo may be offered instead if appropriate.

I use clean utensils, wash containers, brushes and sponges thoroughly after each session. Try to keep them clean during the session. Changing the brush water frequently and using one sponge per child. I do not add disinfectant to the water as the paint already contains agents that act against yeast, mould and bacteria.

I will paint children over 2 and a half yrs and only if they WANT to be painted and they are awake! Parent or Guardian to clean any dirt or food from the childs face before painting. Check for runny noses please! Wet wipes provided. I have £5million Public Liability Insurance and have been CRB cleared. (enhanced) I will not be held liable to any child/adult who may react to our paints etc. i.e. Do not allow yourself or child to be painted if you think you/they may be allergic to any of the products. Remove the paint with mild soap (Baby shampoo is good) and water or wet wipes. I reserve the right to refuse to paint anyone who is abusive, violent or intoxicated. I ask that the children do not touch or play with the paints or equipment.

CARE OF YOUR GLITTER TATTOO.

Glitter Tattoos should not be applied to children under 3 years of age and not above the neck.
Prior to being applied the area of skin should be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol. We only use cosmetic grade glitter powders which are safe for use on the skin.
Your Tattoo can last up to 7 days when placed on an area like ankles, upper arms & wrists or where you don't sweat much or where it won't get rubbed off by your clothing or shoes.
The life of your Glitter Tattoo can also depend on your skin type, the sort of glue used and how well you take care of the Tattoo.

If you put a Tattoo on a hand the Tattoo will last for a shorter time. hands are constantly being used and in & out of water.

Your own natural skin oils will break down the Tattoo on you're skin gradually.
Your Glitter Tattoo is waterproof.

Avoid any abrasive rubbing of your Tattoo on the skin, especially if the skin is wet.
Your Tattoo can be completely removed with Rubbing Alcohol or Baby Oil. Some Creams, Aftershaves, Suntan Lotions, Cleansers, & Perfumes have these ingredients and if you are not careful you can accidentally remove the Tattoo.
